Forbidden

And when she saw

that he was good for food,

food for the soul

that he was a delight

to the eyes

and that the love was to be desired

to make one whole

and wise

she took to the leap thereof

and did dive head first

and she held also unto her man

and he too, dove with all of him

as it is their forbidden truth

them being their forbidden selves

now who is to protect them

as the one cursing their fates

is their creator hisself.
